Openbox S10 HD remote issue

Hi guys!

I?ve got a problem with the remote of my box, just stopped working all of sudden. Change batteries and there?s red light when I press any button, nothing gets to the box so I can?t flick any channels or even turn it off with the remote, any ideas?

Red light on remote may be flashing but is iy sending the infra red signal?

If you have a camera phone point remote at the camera and press any button whilst looking through the camera to see if the infrared light up.

If it does light up it could be a fault in the box.

Hi mate,

Just did what you said and I could see the infrared lighting up.
So, faulty box? How come?
How can I fix it?

If you have not had the box long and its still in warranty get in touch with the seller.

If its out of warranty you could open the box and check the connector from the front panal to the main board is pushed home properly.

If you know someone else with the same box, check your remote on their box.

Just one other thing. The box isnt in standby is it?

Hi mate.
The box is still in warranty, bought it online so a bit pain in the a*s to ship it back blah blah...
Dunno about opening the box cos nothing happened to it, didn't fall or anything like it (it was working this morning!)
The box is on, I can flick channels by clicking buttons on the box so really dunno what is going on.
