Scrambled Channels

Hi all,

I have a Skybox F3 and some kind person prived me with gift as well as my box.

everythign was setup to plug and play out the box, i seem to be able to get everything apart from XXX stuff (i have put the passcode in correct) i get the free talk phone in channels but the not after 10pm stuff, all other channels work, i have tried re scanning and the same thing happens, contacted the person who sent me the gidt but he has no idea why it wont work, can i manually tune these channels in or do i havea wider problem?

You might have tried this but in case you havent, some of the channels listed dont work but if you go down the channel list you see the same channel listed again try that a wait about a minute or so, also while you have the channel list up press the red button and check its on all.

Ummm, there's actually no real XXX on 28.2e anyway, so why bother...

I have now tried deleting all channels, and re-scanning, i dont pick up multiple of the same channel for the adult channels, just the one channel for each no duplicate.

they are still scrambled, i have now added AJs channel list to see if that would make a difference, all that did was remove the annoying pin feature each time.

I have written down the follwoing information incase it contains any pointers as to why they dont work:

F3 Box

First info screen:
Channel TV X
Transponder 12607/H/27500
PID
SID = d7BF
PID = 010D
VPID = 0901

Second info screen:
PID: v 2305
A 2306
SI 55231

Third info screen:

Signal intensity = 90%
Signal quality = 71%

Not sure mate, it seems to be on any adult channel that has a doller sign, am just bemused as to why its only these channels?

Because your server is probably not providing them.

Thought it might be that , but i had contacted him and he said they should be appearing, hence asking the question here, as ithought it might be a signal issue or something like that.

You can test it by pressing the info button. Try on a working $ channel and you should see the camd that you are using at the bototm left of the info display panel.

Now do the same on a non working $ channel and you will see its not there.

Most likely not included in gift as the server provider has to pay extra to get these chanels
