    1080p

Evening all, recently set up my f3 and accidentally pressed the v.format button, after finally working out what I had done I was trying to get it onto 1080p but I just get a blank screen although I can hear sound through the surround sound??

Just wondered why? Because nothing is broadcast in 1080p? Surely I should still be able to set to that format on box and tv.

Tv is 1080p by the way

The first press of the V Format button shows the format your on on the display.

To change the format press the V Format button twice then wait till it changes. If still blank screen press twice again. It will show the correct format eventually.

      Alternatavely use AV cables.

I can change the format but I only get a picture when I'm on 1080i 50hz although my tv is 1080p.

Maybe when a program is transmitted in 1080p you will then be able to watch it in 1080p.

I suppose. Not that it really matters, I'm just being a fussy git.
