    Skybox F3 occasional Audio crackle

i'm on firmware that was supplied with box - 3601hd_04_09_2012_072f

everything working as expected, except when watching any channels (hd / sd) i get an occasional audio crackle. basically distorted sound like the speaker is damaged. this sound lasts for 3-4 seconds then normal audio commences.

Had previously been using a genuine duo without any such issues, ruling out hardware fault with Panasonic TV (speakers)

i think problem could be any of the following

audio - setting - tried using both settings but get the same problem. so have ruled this out

hdmi lead - used different ones, problem still exists.

that leaves me with firmware issue.

has anyone else had this problem on an F3 and which firmware was it on?

would scooby snax possibly sort this problem?

do you have the volume on full on the box? if so try turn it down a bit on the box and put telly up a tad, i had same thing with an s10 and this sorted it.. Also had it on my gigablue when it is on full volume, i just knock it down 1 bar and it is fine.
