Skybox f3 problem

OK here we go.

I am trying to help a friend install caam.cfg on his f3.

I have done it via usb upload and ftp upload. I have active cccam file and even manually input server address but for some reason it wont connect at all. Driving me mad. Anyone any advice.

I have also uploaded latest firmware etc. Still to no avail

All his other boxes openbox 11 etc work fine on his network.

Ok problem solved. He brought the boxes to me. Turns out when he manually inputting into cccam he forgot to change to newcamd protocol.

If only he explained more on the phone. 5 mins in box i had it nailed.
