    Skybox F4

    Hi,
I am pretty new to this and am grateful to all those who post replies that guide us newbies through the 'thicket' of information to get us started.
I am looking at skybox f3 (or perhaps f4) and would like to know what you think of this as an option. My aim is to replace my existing 'normal' setup of a panasonic HD sybox.
I will probably use cable to connect to my router so wifi is not a major issue for me..If I dont get any g**t with it, where do I go?
Is there a guide I can link to that shows how to set it up?
    Any help appreciated!

personaly i would steer clear of the gifts, you don't know how long it will last or how good it would be, get the f3 for ?50 and sort your own gift out. Google is your friend on finding one, as the route you need to go down is not allowed to be spoke about on this site...

the f3 box is very cheap hd box and easy to set up
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

Be aware though, you have a nice logical 7 day full epg with your SkyTV digibox, you wont have that on a cheap Skybox/Openbox, the EPG will only show what you're currently watching and whats on next.. If you can live with that then go for it, if not then you would need to buy a more expensive receiver, or stick with your SkyTV digibox.
