Unsure about which firmware to use

I bought a satellite box from Ebay a while back but I'm having problems with it not receiving some channels and I want to flash the box with a new firmware. I have searched the forums for a while but I'm unsure of which firmware I should you use as I do not know the precise model.

What markings/model numbers are on the receiver? What does it say in system information within the menu?

looks like a v8, probably enigma 2, see if you can access box via dreambox control centre

Thats an openbox m8. Any of the old openbox firmware and channel lists will work just fine.
