best thing do if you have an openbox is google search for sly tv guide and save it to your favs on your laptop, ipad, phone, computer and whenever you want to see what's on check that..
openbox is a good starter box for folk who want to watch tv. If you want to take the plunge and spend 150 quid on a better box just for the sake of the epg i wouldnt bother.. you will have lots of hassle and sleepless nights getting it up and running, and after a week of reading wonder why your still not getting a good epg, then have to look for cross epg.. another week reading.. go bald & wrinkly and wish you had stuck to the openbox .
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

oh okay. thanks for taking the time to reply. i think i might just do that.. do you know about how much space a 4 hour program would take on a memory stick? i attempted to record something last night & it only recorded the first 40 minutes, i did set it for 4 hours. is it because i dont have enough memory?

honestly this is the last time im replying then im just going to ignore you. all i was doing is seeking help if that bothers you so much that i cant spend hours on google (which i have) finding an answer rather than on here then i recommend you refrain from posting on online forums. Forever.

You will need a good fast mem stick if you want to record in HD and at least a gig an hour.

not sure off hand mate, if it is hd it uses alot more then sd would, i thought i would have enough with 6gb to record boxing once and was badly mistaken so i used a 500gb hd after that.

I've just deleted a few movies today but didn't check the sizes of them

theres also a lot of people who buy things they have no idea about and then expect to be spoonfed information on them, when these "lowlifes" have already helped provide a lot of the information required to get these boxes up and running, and when these "lowlifes" are constantly faced by people who dont want to learn, but just want answers given to them.. it kind of racks them off a bit
