Skybox F3 keeps freezing every 30 seconds

Hi all,

I 'm having an issue with my recently purchased skybox f3 in that it keeps freezing/glitching on certain channels every 30 seconds which gets very annoying!

I was wondering if any of you kind fellas could help me sort this issue out?

I posted on another thread and one of the lads said i needed to realign my dish using a meter. If this is the case, Can someone please elaborate on the dish alignment procedure? What type of meter should I use and where can I get it from? What type of lnb do you best recommend and where from?

P.S. My sky dish and single cable from dish to reciever are 7+ years old. My signal intensity on the skybox f3 is around 90% and my signal quality fluctates between 73%-75%.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If it just $ channels glitching then nowt you can do about it other than accept it, or google for a better CS provider.. Or, grumble at the person you bought it from...

If its all channels glitching then it could well be dish, lnb or cable issue..

Get a test 24hr cline from a verifed server sharer, and use his details when its really bad
I only seem to be effected on Sky Sports HD and Star Plus HD channels especailly on weekends and glitching is everfy 30secs
They all promise freeze free / glitch free but i dont think its true

This sounds like a good idea, thankyou. My next question is how do I find a verified server sharer?

I too am affected mainly on sky's ports. Can I comfortably assume that this is intact a subscription issue rather than a hardware issue?

Dont think its allowed by pm's either. I could be wrong but think the pm's are monitored or can be monitored

my knob freezes from time to time ,, but no pmms can be monitored but usually aren't not here on dk unlkess reported or such

thats what I probably read sometime ago on a thread think someone had received an offer of a "gift" and a mod or someone made a comment of that kind that talk is not allowed by pm's either.

I probably got the monitoring of pm's confused with reporting such pm's.

take look in manage config file. see if your line is not KO or moving from online to offline give you freezing/glitching. Just saying to check if internet in disconnecting

issue with freezing,how to solve this issue,is simple,stop moaning and buy a full sly sub with their stb,beggar,s cant be chooser,s. just my own opinion.no offence..

I probably got the monitoring of pm's confused with reporting such pm's.

If I recall correctly the mod made a comment that if anyone is offered gifts by PM they should be reported.
