Help with Old school sky dish!

Evening all, my kryptview box got coke all over it courtesy of my lovely niece so I decided to buy a cheap skybox just to fiddle around with the sattelite scene.

Now here's my problem I have a mini dish which is connected in my fathers room upstairs and the mini dish is being utilised by the actually sky viewing box.

Now i ALSO have a OLD SCHOOL Huge sky dish from 1998 still on the front of my home, the ones before the mini dish took over my road my question is can this dish be used to pickup all the accessible channels using the "skybox" ??

Or would I MUST disconnect the upstairs official sky box and use the mini dish...

Or could I share the one mini dish?

Any help much appreciated thankyou very much

    AND HAPPPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!!!!

    Riz

the old s*y dish will be pointing at [email protected] and will probably have a single band lnb on it either 9.75ghz or 10ghz but if its a later one it could have a quad band universal but either way it will need re-aligning to [email protected]. if the s*y mini-dish has a quad lnb with 4 ports then there,s probably 2 spare ports so just buy 20m or so of cable and some connectors, clips and run a fresh legth of cable from a spare port and connect up your f3. you will need to connect the f3 to the router via a wi-fi stick or homeplugs and/or rj45 lan cable to get the most out of it,regards mdt
