    skybox F3 advice

    hi all,
    i've had an openbox s10 for quite a while now and its crashing constantly time for a change me thinks.
    can you tell me what the EPG is like and is it really 7 day like the box states (very much doubt it)
    channel capacity?
    what are the recording capabiities? i wouldnt mind being able to just click on things to record thats coming up in a few hours time because at the moment i've gotta fart around with the timer on my openbox.

    advice always appreciated

      now and next epg.. although youll get a few days on 19.2e
      recording is same as openbox,
      set up same as the openbox

              From what I've read, most EPGs are limited to now & next when using 28.2. There are workarounds but these are only available on the (really) more expensive boxes out there and even then there is a lot of messing around to do.

              I can only assume it's because of the way EPG is populated when using 28.2

              There are magazines or even online guides you could use like Sky's own.

                  you can get the 7day epg on a box from about ?80 to ?99

                      the skyboxes are beginner boxes if you have the money invest in a decent box like a dreambox 800 hd or se or even a vu solo/duo/ultimo
