check your cables. check your mute button on box and tv.

different cable?
do other hdmi products work ok?
does skybox work ok via rca?
if youve tried all that and problem is still there.. reflash the skybox.
make sure you back up all your info first

im not in front of mine atm and havent done it for a while, but really, the only thing you NEED to have a copy of is your sealion. everything else can be downloaded again from here. to back up sealion:

MENU > TOOLS > DUMP BY USB > SCROLL LEFT OR RIGHT TO HIGHLIGHT MISC FILES > SELECT AND DUMP > CHOOSE CCCAM.CFG.

so how do i reflash it does not tell me.

i need to get this sorted as i have a funeral to go to today and need the kids tv on

got it and done it but it had no CCcam set up or anything on that update so i put my old one back on and still no sound driving me up the bloody wall now.

put it back on, press 6666 whilst on network setup
