Skybox F3/M3 - Will it work in North America

Hi guys,

Skybox M3 or F3 is it compatible with IKS or Private $erver?


Not sure if it have the following list of satellite?

EchoStar 10
EchoStar 14
Ciel 2

They are all from Dishnetwork

Any help would be appreciated.

I think you should ask if it supports the lnbs/switches you use.You may be stuck using universal lnbs and diseqc switches instead of the dishnetwork provided ones.

AIUI, the primary market is Asia and South America. Obviously, they also work in Europe and I expect in North America as well. There are many options for LNB configuration and CAMs.

In North America to get satellies as mentioned above LNBs need to be circular lnb standard - 11250 mhz.
Also not sure if skybox have north american TP or I should add them my self and any idea how?.

Skybox.cc has TP lists which may help.

According to Lyngsat the TP is 110o W. Can you see it on your list of TPs?

Even if it's listed, it doesn't mean you can receive it as there maybe LNB/CAM issues as mentioned earlier.

dishnetwork usually uses dishpro lnbs and their own type of switches to match.Don't know if those are in the menu,don't own one.

Right now I have a Dreamlink HD on 110W & 119W (EchoStar 10 & EchoStar 14) using circular lnb standard @ 11250 mhz with diseqc 2.0

I found SKYBOX F3_M3 that has American TP and can be loaded into receiver.

Is that safe to do?

I have attached the picture of the LNB that I am using right now also that file i found to be added on Skybox receiver.

I also use Newcamd or IKS to load my private server purchased from a different site.

I hope I made it clear, because I am new at this stuff and sometimes dont know how to explain stuff right.

Hi, I have a skybox f5 and trying to set it up. On echostar 10 and echostar 14. 110w, 119w does not show channel names or info. How can I get that information? Need help!! And also will Iks work on this box for me?
