    It started recently
its showing "On" written on receiver and then a red light appears on screen and it goes in a loop
keeps on repeating on and red light
    nothing appears on the screen?

Remove the satellite/dish cable from the box and switch power on.

If that dont work you will ned to use the recovery method.

When you have disconnected the sat cable, power the box on, then delete the channel that the box is on from the "all" list. This was a common problem with the s9 with a certain formware on certain channels.

I think it was hd channels that caused reboot back then

Yes there were two or three, once deleted all was fine.

Updating the firmware would do the trick but needs to be careful if its a clone.
