skybox f3 losing connection too many times

i have had this sky box f3 about a week now, i find what happens it tends to lose the connection a few too many times especially when i am putting the channels in order for the euro sats, my other box a spiderbox does not lose the connection like this box, is there any fix for this.

is dhcp turned on? is it the internet connetion you are talking about or the box rebooting?

thanks for your quick reply, yes thats turned on, mainly losing connection from the internet, server online/ server offline, when i switch to the spiderbox i dont lose connection

i found that the my box hated newcamd and would only stay stable with CCam

There's no specific fix as its not a common problem... Assuming you're using wired connection and not flakey wifi, try a different cable, try a shorter cable, try a different port on your router, test it with your box in a dmz....

Lets also assume you're not using a strictly one box only line on 2 boxes at the same time, could it simply be your provider is crap....

i use one box at a time , i have a spiderbox which loops though to a skybox f3 with the same guy, one box on and one box off etc!
my connection is inputted from the router straight to the spider looping throught to the skybox, i dont use wi-fi.

Plug the ethernet cable straight from router into openbox without looping (ie totally disconnect spider) and see if that improves.
