skybox f5 dongle (sim) gprs

its a question of if uk fone sims would work in the g1 anyway?
i know 02 work in f4s but not heard of anyother fone sims working in f4s?

i have to agree with sb , from what ive seen people have problems with these dongles and uk sims.
i suppose the 3g router hard wired by ethernet cable to the f4 would be a better solution.
im not sure why they went down this obscure dongle route in the first place , should have been able to use any dongle rather than a specific one.
ive done a few tests with a huawei e220 dongle in a sapido 3g router and it does work altho a little glitchy due to signal not being strong.

it has various formwares with built in channel lists and has f4 firmware with built in gprs settings for giffgaff... might be useful to someone.
