Skybox F3 to Openbox X5

I have a Openbox X5. Can I put a firmware of Skybox F3 or other firmware to openbox x5.

If yes, How would I do this?

I don't believe you can.

The X5 has a different firmware than other Skybox/openboxes. The X5 doesn't use same channel list as is used on other skybox/openboxes.

yes ive read, they are two different formats for the x5 and f5

That's correct and channel lists are also different there are a few sky UK lists floating around on the open box forum
