Skybox F3 EPG problem

Hi everyone, I have an F3 box, all channels are fine but the EPG menu only has one or two entries on each channel which only come up when your actually on that channel. If I skip forward a couple of hours there are very few, if any entries.

Is there an EPG upgrade I can try or is this a usual problem?

The EPG on these if not most boxes are only any good for now and next. Not like virgin/sky boxes where you can view numerous hours of upcoming programmes etc.

Ok thanks, which boxes have better menus, nearer to the professional menus. I know it's not a big problem, especially when I downloaded the channel lists but its nice to know if there are better menus/epgs on certain boxes.

I may be corrected but i dont even think the high end boxes have extensive EPG's. I just downloaded the sky guide app for android and use that to see whats on.

your right, the enigma 2 box's have a better chance of a decent epg, i have the duo and dm 800, both with the 7 day epg running ok.
as for my f3, its in the spare room, so im fine with the now and next, but i do uderstand peeps wanting better

Well I'm not playing at all because it wouldn't be appropriate to attach a Linux plugin on Closed source Skybox thread.

Id sooner take note of a senior user. No offence to anyone. But I didn't see a sarky comment just simple advice for a question asked and another place to look for more info. some people are so touchy don't you think.

Whats the channel list / selections like. I'm not too happy with the F5 and was wondering if there was a better option out there.
