skybox f3 set up problems

hi, getting frustrated setting the box up !!! got a 1 day test line few days back but only tried today, and put it in manually but nothing is happening and all the $ channels are still scrambled.does the 24 hr lion only work for that day ?? my provider is Sly and i was setting up with an ethernet cable,which was flashing at back of box so i assume it is working. DHCP is on also. i was reading elsewhere to reboot with remote after putting sea lion in, is that just on/off again ? im really at my wits end here as elswhere it seems easy for others !!! thanks in advance, johnny

more than likley it will just be for that 24 hour period, and its gone now. you would be best to have it all set and ready, so when you do get a test line, its ready to use.
dhcp you have got that right, and switch off and on should be suffice.

cheers bud, will try that with line again. tho i hit factory reset and now its only giving inst antenna, sat list and lnb power...no search options and saying "no ch" on front of box ??

load it to your usb stick

download, open the zip file and transfer the file to a stick.
once on the stick, fire up the box, insert the stick and transfer.

there is plenty of tuitions on here, explaning what to do, have a good look/read around
