S10 Clone - Press standby but stil working

Ive got an S10 clone, its only recently started doing this (no changes been made) when you press the standby button on the remote, the display goes off but the box is still live, and you need to use the switch on the back to reboot it.

Ive read that its a firmware issue and also the menu,info ok red blue etc etc however its still doing it.

Also when i have uploaded the latest clone safe software, and on any channel listings (tried 4) when on ESPN the box just keeps rebooting.

I would back up the firmware 100% before even thinking of doing anything with the firmware.
If something goes wrong updating firmware you will have a backup to recover.It sounds like you have old pre clone detect firmware on the box now.It was a common symptom back in early to mid 2011

Yeah I've backed the original that it was flashed with that after nearly 12 months has developed a fault.

Tried the current clone safe image that's on here (replaces openbox with skybox) but that still does it
