    SkyBox M3 Wifi Key Code

Hello, got what's probably a stupid question but when I'm asked to put my router/ wifi password in I can't do it as I have a couple of Hyphens "-" in between words and I can only see letters & numbers.

    My password is something like:
    word-secondword-thirdword

Or do I have to change my router password?

Another member suggested the 0 key might change them but sadly I couldn't get that to work (thanks for suggestion cgscott)

    Any help much appreciated.

    Cheers Kev

        Hello,
I am also having problems with router/wifi password entry - when I enter the code in wifi manager it tries to connect, but times out. If I then go back to check the key, it is empty, and must be re-entered. The Openbox is "seeing" the router - mid 80's signal strength, but can't connect. Router is an Orange CFF336.Any thoughts appreciated.
        Phil.

Sorry can't help there as I can't enter my code correctly as cannot get different characters, think I may need to change my router password/ code but was hoping to avoid that.

          Cheers

            All the characters are there.

Try hitting the number 1 or 0 a few times, you can always delete any errors.

What characters do you actually get when you press the zero key 3 times?
                I get space/underscore/hyphen.

                  Hi Hadron & DW190
Thanks for the great suggestions, all that happens when I press the 0 or 1 button is that it takes the highlighted area to that specific number. I have to press the ok button in the middle for it to choose the specified letter or number ???

Or am I doing something stupid and wrong. Might have to bite the bullet and change wifi password but would prefer to try and solve this as winding me up now.

                  Thanks for any help

Sorry, my mistake, I was giving info on entering charracters in the camd menu.

The only characters that the wifi key will accept are the ones displayed.

ie. Alphabetic both upper and lower case and numbers. The question mark as well. Looks like you will have to change yourrouters passkey.

Oops...same here. I went to the new satellite menu & tried entering a new satellite name. I thought you would get the same options when using the wifi menu, but obviously not.
