No Signal

Just got round to putting the dish up and connecting it all up

On all channels including FTA i get no signal, in the antenna setup menu signal quality is always at 10% whether the cable is connected or not but the signal intensity is at 35% when not connected and 45% when connected

i've not subsribed to a server yet just because of this it was my understanding that i should still be able to recieve FTA, been up and down off the roof for the past 2-3 hours moving the dish about while my other half checks the TV to see if the signal changes at all which it didn't.

To be honest i'm completely stuck on what to do, read lots on various forums about diode fixes etc but unsure whether i've got a faulty lnb or a faulty F3

anyone able to troubleshoot with me or know someone in my area that can sort it (liverpool) (i'd be paying them obviously)

i've also tried the scooby snacks image and and the stock image (latest) botht the same

Hi there go online and put into the search for dishpointer. In this site where it says location and is set for broadway New York put in your postcode and England then below in the other box for what sat select 28.2 east. That will tell you if you have the lnb skewed right what your elevation should be and where to point it.

hi mate.. got to menu then installation, then go to satellite and pick the Astra 28,2 sat, then go down to Antenna setup.. wer u can see the Signal and Strength.. now start moving ur dish slowly until ur signal and Strength changes colour and goes up to 70% or more, then try checking ya channel. if not, use a Satellite signal finder.. when i installed my dish took me bout 25min to get it perfect without the signal finder, plus u need to be positioned to the correct Satellite ASTRA 28.2

anyway got it sorted the day after just wasn't aiming the dish in the correct area
