Skybox external Hard drive set up

Hi, can anyone help with seeing an external Hard Drive on the Skybox F5? See's usb stick fine, but I cannot get box to see my HD. Tried re format at fat32 but no joy, still cannot access though PVR ?? Any ideas??

It is a powered drive Iomega 500gb, have formatted it as exfat 32. Any help would be appreciated.

Format it Fat32, not Exfat...

Yup as above just format it fat32 and should work fine with this box

Can't help directly, but when I plug my usb stick into the F5 box it works fine, If I use an extender (to get the usb round the front) it doesn't 'see' the usb stick !

Hope this helps pin it down.

Sounds like the extender is the problem, does it work if you connect it to the laptop that way?
