hi guys. sorry if i posted in the wrong place but this is new to me. i would really appreciate help if someone would spare the time. me and my partner bought our son the s11 hd pvr openbox for his birthday. the guy charged me 230 pounds for this and i was told i was ripped off. anyhow it wouldent work at first cos the screen just sais scrambled plus i accidently deleted a chanel list called sky uk which he ha'd obviously manually made this chanell list. anyway i eventually got all channels working. but the last week now it says screen scrambled but i got the free channels. he wants another 40 pound to put it right. is this right? we have only had the box 6 weeks off him. is theres somebody who could help me put these channels right? their all there just not working. it just says scrambled and if somebody could help me get the channel list like sky uk right again i would be most grateful. hope someone could help cos my son would be so happy. thanks again

Both of you need to edit your posts and have a read of the rules.
Not only is there no server talk on this forum you cant also publish the name of a well known broadcaster,rule break 2 so edit your posts accordingly.

Why on earth did you pay 230 quid? Did you not do any research before forking out that sort of money?.. Sorry but, yes you've been ripped off, big time...
Anyway, make sure your box is connected to your internet router with an ethernet cable and that DHCP is enabled on the box..
If you dont like the channel list on the box then use AJ's channel list from here...Comment

Why have you started another thread???? Is your box connected to the internet? Has it got connection? Can you see your box connected to the router? Is your box actually being given an IP by your Routers DHCP server? Can you identify your box connection in the IP table (connected devices) on the router? Can you ping the box? Do you think you maybe shouldnt have bought this box? Can you get a refund?Comment

um all i was looking for was some help rather than waste more money as for when i bought it all i was told was to plug it in via the cables which i know how to do. everything was fine at the start but the uk channel listing was accidently deleted so the channels were all mixed up then 5 days ago all i had written on my screen was scrambled. and the guy wanted another 40 pounds to do so i thought i dont think so. this is were i found this site so with a bit of help from somebody with PATIANCE i learnt how to reload the correct uk channel listings and now i still got scrambled written on my screen. i just need a bit of help in maybe sorting this for my son. i didnt know i had to be bill gates or even take it back just because ive asked for help. and as for the new thread. as i was asking a different topic i thought i had to post a new thread. like i stated in the begining. i am new to this. thank youComment

right ok i dont know how to tell if certain things are working. i did get told to go into the manage cccam.cfg section. i went in there and put the tick in the box. but i noticed that it says login ko? when i go into network settings i think its picked up my router because it shows the ip address in the network section.Comment

That means ur provider details are wrong and for that you have to contact your provider for the information. No one else can help you unless u use a new provider
