Hi You can get it alive with using 9 pin to 9 pin null modem cable. Look on to this post*****Don?t argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience***** -
It obviously won't work as it is, as you need a 9 pin female at each end (unless you have a very old pc with a 25 pin serial connector).
For a start you need to convert the 25 pin male end to a 9 pin female connector. I would also question whether the lead is actually a null-modem cable & not a serial one.
I don't think it's worth the effort of trying to get it working. You can get the proper leads on Ebay for under ?2, or if you are feeling flush (or desperate) then Maplin have them for ?12.99!Comment
