skybox wifi f5

any1 help am on talktalk i can set my f3 up to wireless but when i try to do my skybox f5 it just says time ouy and wont connect

The wifi on the boxes can be a bit temperamental getting set up for the first time, heres is what I found. Each time the box times out from connecting to your wifi, shut down and reboot the box, then try and reconnect to the wifi again, it may take a few goes but if you have a decent enough dongle then it will connect eventually. I found that once it eventually connected the first time, each subsequent time I switched my box on it connected up automatically quite quickly, its just the initial set up that can be a bugger.

Nice one m8, glad u got it sorted, I know how frustrating it can be!.... seems to be important that u reboot the box each time it "times out" from connecting. Which dongle are u using?

Hi I am having same prob with my new f5 timing out after 15-20 secs tried rebooting and no difference how many reboots did you need before it worked?

sorted now it took me 7 times before of repeating - reboot, connect to wifi then timed out before i got a connection and is f5 is working now
