    Tuner issue

Hi there guys. I think I might have an f3 box with a tuner issue, on watching live sports it seems stutery like. It's def not the line as I have changed boxs and Alls fine with another f3 running the same line also it was doing it on a freeview channel bbc hd on sat for the rugby. So my question is. Does this box have a faulty tuner or is it the firmware? And bareing in mind the firmware is the same on the other box that I swapped it with and Alls fine with that and that's why I'm now thinking its a tuner issue. Has anyone else incurred this problem? And did they send the box back or use a new firmware. Many thanks for any replys. Ps it would actually hurt your eyes after a while watching it

Stuttery? You might be using the wrong video output setting, in the UK (and Europe) you should be outputting 50 not 60, so for example make sure you're output setting is 1080 50, and not on 1080 60 ...

I think I got it and yes it was on 1080 60 so changed to 1080 50 and I think that's it sorted. I will keep an eye on it later to make sure thanks again for the advice

No, but 1080p will only work on a "Full HD" tv, if its only an "HD Ready" tv then it would need to be 1080i.... Use either, you probably wont see any difference between them as HD tv is only broadcast at 1080i anyway, but 1080p is the max box video output setting...
