Was wondering if it would be easier to plug a sound bar into my tv so everything that's played through the tv is played through the sound bar as well will have to check what the tv connections are on the back first

only problem is the tv would have to be on if you just wanted to listen to music whereas i can switch my tv off and just leave the hifi on.

If your contemplating purchasing a soundbar then make sure you get one with HDMI input this way you future proof yourself as there is no Optical/spdif on the rear of the F5 so if you want 5.1 output its via HDMI only if your happy with just stereo via the RCA Phono's on the rear then any cheap soundbar will do the job

The HDMI specced ones are not cheap mate but probably worth it, if you have an understanding better half you could probably find an A/V Amp Speaker package for arounf the same price point which will sound better.

Have a look on Richer Sounds they have a few good deals on at times
