Openbox x3 Transponder Woe

Any help would be appreciated. I have a openbox x3 and when I turn it on the transponder that it defaults to does not pick up any signal so any channel shows the "No Signal" error.

I have to go down the list and choose one, normally its about no.19 in the dropdown list. Once I have changed it the signal shoots back up and everything is fine. However when I reboot it loses the settings and defaults back to the other transponder.

Is there anyway to change the default transponder used and for it to keep the setting once its been rebooted?

Have you tried flashing with new software and adding an uptodate channel list?
If you do this make a backup of the image or make sure you have your other details stored safely on the pc.
