Link Skybox f3 to other TV's?

Hi guys new to the forum but may as well get stuck right in...!

I've recently ditched the sly+ box and got a skybox. I had three TV's linked the the + box wired from RF out to the 'airel in' feed in my other two TV's in different rooms. What are your suggestions to get my other two TV's going again from the new box without having to run new wires?

An RF Modulator, or a Wireless AV Sender with 2 receivers, both methods will let you achieve what you want without running new wires...

An RF Modulator alone wont allow you to remote control from the other TV's, but a Wireless AV Sender will....

Can you link me up to this modulator you speak of? Not bothered about the wireless thing. as long as I can turn over from the main TV then that will be fine.

It will depend on how good the cables in the walls and the splits are, it should be ok, but if not, just put a cheap TV Booster after the modulator to amplify the RF signal before it connects to the rest of the house...

The cables are all working well with the + box. So it will just be how good the box converts them. Also, would I be able to send you a pm with a few questions?

As you see, I gave you the cheapest solution using your existing aerial feeds (I always do cheapest cause Im tight) where as digicon recommended the best but more expensive way of using your existing aerial feeds... Its your choice...

All RF Modulators tend to output roughly the same levels, so they should provide the same quality as what you would see coming out of RF2 from a + box...

Your second link looks like what I'm looking for but they all seem to be those screw in connections that are on the sky dish cable. the connection on the cables I have are 'run of the mil' male and females that fit into the back of the TV. Am I able just to change the connections?

You just need to change the existing Aerial connectors for 'F' types should take a couple of minutes to do at the most, the reason i linked to the dearer triax tri-link is the fact that this retains the use of the magic eyes if you had them in your other rooms, Nibblitz suggestion of just the RF mod to feed 1-2 tv's will still work but you have no Magic eye function.

Also worth bearing in mind that dependant on the lengh of your cable runs you may also need an amplifier for reliable signal reception especially to 2 TV's as what your old official Sky box does is not only convert to RF they also have signal & 9v booster on board where as an RF modulatior just does the RF conversion. Should be fine for 1 maybe even 2 TV's but you wont find that out till you try it.

Yes that will work plugging the composite Yellow/Red/White from the back of the F3 and Scart into the FR Modulator
