    Wifi device not found

    Guys,

    Noobie here. Ive got a second box and a tenda wfi dongle. I took the dongle out the box put it in the usb at front of skybox. went into network settings and activate. I have a message reading...

    Current network interface WIFI, but device NOT FOUND, Please plug in.

    I'm not sure what I am doing can any provide this idiot with help???

    You need to use the correct wifi dongle, you cant just use any old dongle, it has to be the one the box supports...

      My friend just asked me try it out for him. This dongle I have looks like a good one by reading the box but by the looks of it,it wont even register in the box. You think it maybe just not compatible then?? As I thought maybe I should be doing something else other than just sticking it the box...

        As Nibblitz said you need the correct WIFI Dongle for the
        F3 - F5 box as the drivers are preloaded into the firmware.

          Thanks again guys. I'm going to stick to an ethernet cable myself. Was just trying out for a friend who has just wasted a ten spot.....

            these work well on the skybox for under ?5 got one myself good range on them. skybox drivers support them. fleabay no.221076028950
