    Openbox x3 scrambled on freeview???

Hi there guys I have a problem with an x3 box I purchased when turning it on for the first time I thought I smelt a smell of electrical burning just a tiny bit. Anyhow when it was turned on it took a few of times turning itself on and off before it eventually was ok then, but soon it was at it again turning itself off then reloading so I contacted the person I bought it off and sent it back for replacement or refund and they sent it back to me with a new firmware installed and said it was fixed, but soon it was at it again. It seemed to be gradually getting worse and now today it won't even load up at all and even the freeview channels or saying scrambled. So I done a factory reset and scanned channels but nothing was found which makes me think its a tuner issue like I have thought all along. I tried another box in its place and Alls working fine with it so it ain't a cable or dish issue. Any ideas what I should do or is my box dead??? Many thanks for any replys and sorry for such a long winded question

Good choice. I can find only two faults with them.

          1 USB on front

2 Have to use exit after selecting channel following using favorite button.

Other than that they're a reasonable performer for under fifty notes.

I have the M3 myself, I just prefer its dinky little discrete size, external 12v psu and usb on the back.. But its functionality is the same as F3...

But most people have the F3, and they seem to be perfectly reliable for most people..

With older firmware you don't have to press exit, just double click on the channel

no it must smell like Burnt Chips

Go with the F3 box or the F5 sounds good
