    Skybox F3 motor control

Hi All, a little help if you can please

I have bought an F3 to replace a blown reciver on my motorised dish and I am having problems wih the motor control

Are there any known problems with compatibility between the F3 and a Technomate 2300 motor in Diseqc 1.2 or USALS

The motor works using its own push buttons and from the box using the right/left handset control but will not position itself automatically.

I borrowed a cheap Ross box and that doesn't work properly either so I am beginning to thik that whatever took out my old box has fried the motor electronis as well

    thanks

No it should work fine with Skybox if your dish is good and was installed properly.. You have put your correct Log&Lat into the box settings, and enabled USALS for all satellites, havnt you?

I set the dish up a couple of years ago and it was fine until my old box went.

The skybox is set up correctly for Lat/Long and USALS on for all the sats

I think the motor must be toast

I too am having problems. I have the F3s with a 1m dish on a STAB 120H-H motor. Iv'e tried USALS and Diseq1.2 but even though I get a message on screen saying "MOVING DISH" the dish isn't moving at all. The cable in the house is going into the LNB connector on the back of the Skybox, not LOOP. Am I missing settings in DISeQ or 1.1 ? Or is my motor goosed?

Thats OK for the general rule of thumb diseqc motors but the OP with the STAB cannot as they have no external buttons or even active lights

No problem the STAB brand and its clones are still Diseqc motors but have no buttons such as the dark Motor,TM2300/2600 East - West so to speak
