Is anyone else having random restarts with this firmware?

Yes i do have it when i first upgraded the firmware yesterday. It happened after 3 hours of viewving in the afternoon but in the evening viewing 7 hours without any restarts in my Skybox F3.

I even tried resetting back to factory defaults and installing firmware again but without keeping DBS and settings but still suffer random restarts.

I can't find out any pattern to the restarts except if its happens it will do it whilst changing channels. It's not even the same channels as first time I noticed it, I noted the channel and after it restarted itself I was able to select that channel and channels around it for ages without a problem.

Check your sat cable connections. As power goes through them the slightest bad connection or crossed strand of wire causes the box to detect a power fault and reboots.

still my youtube does,nt work ,youp##n does but stutters, and still carnt get all the sats in the list to show (only 4 showing same as before)

Please check you network setting , set the DHCP ON, ping your box by PC wheater it connected . if OK, and still not work, Set the to DNS 8.8.8.8 , and try again.

In most cases, loading this firmware will set your DHCP to OFF, you will need to go back into the Network settings and turn it back ON and save.

Even taking a dump of this firmware with the DHCP set ON will not save the setting and if you load it back on a box with older firmware, it will switch it OFF again. Also the Weather app isn't saved in a firmware dump, so you would have to load that on every box.

was just wondering, we had a new app with this update so I wonder if they will release more apps ? or heck a kit so you could write your own ? a vlc and a app to do iplayer/itv player and 4od would be nice ........./me turns over and caries on dreaming...

Hi guys,
I ve just got a Skybox F5. When I turn it on for the first time, It started searching canals and suddenly the image stand still. The only way I had to put it off is to draw the plug (12V) behind.And from now on, it does not turn on (no light in front-nothing happens). Someone can tell me how can I resolve this problem.

Any CLONE SKYBOX (F3 ,F5) CAN NOT run the firmware , EVEN upgrade the firmware with a RS232 cable.

I also have restarts after updating to this FW. I noticed that these happen when my resolution is above 720p. Can you confirm it? Should we downgrade to 13-01-2013 FW?
