    SkyBox F5

    Hi Everyone, I recently purchased an F5 box on fleabay and someone else sent me a nice gift ..all is well but seem to get Audio/Sound sync issues. Is this a known problem with these boxes/setup, Have adjusted the a/v sync delay on my LG smart tv ..but still very slightly out. Whats the latest firmware and channel list for this box?.. I know I ask a lot! Cheers peeps!

      hi soggytissue,some firmwares have had the issue of lip sync,ive found that if you change the channel and then go back it solves it most times,if you go into the red section (called the stickies-top of the page) you,ll find all you need,and as for channel list (same again red section ,aj,s channel list )99% use this list even being sold on fleebay,once this list is in you loose all other sats and have to put the rest in yourself,so make sure you save everything you want on a usb, good luck and welcome to DK.

          Cheers Mate for the reply, the box was only bought this week and said it had the latest firmware and channel updates for 2013...but I don't know if its Jan or now?..channels I can live with, mines not listed as per sky ones but can find them via favs.. it's the a/v sync that's does my head in!..might try other firmware then.

              Sorry for one last question...but if you flash the firmware on the box do you lose your channel list and CCcam file?..I see you can dump both to usb stick..have the CCcam backed up anyway.

                              put new march 27th firmware on see if that solves sync issue when flashing new firmware there is an option to save settings before flashing make sure yes is choosen then all your important stuff should be saved but always keep a backup of your important files!
