Could be a number of things mate, as you suggest it could well be your CS server, it could also be an issue with your ISP.

could be oversubbed or internet try reboot box and router see if that improves it any. also hols time and everyone on facebook/watching tv internet speeds slow right down im getting no where near 100MB/s like i should yesterday/today and pings are high too

Well there you go, they are cheap for a reason mate. Try a ping and tracert to your CS server. I would not be at all surprised if TT is your issue.

No mate. Family have three boxes between us. All on different providers. Vm,Sky and TT. All off the same guy and all freezing on sports only over the weekend. Ok now right enough. The question I'm asking is... will new firmware help?

Mate still do not rule out your ISPs until you have carried out a ping and tracert to the CS server. If they are ok then you need to contact your CS provider and get them to check the server.

You could try older firmware but to be honest, I have upgraded my firmware on four occasions now when there has been a new version released and my viewing has been stable on all of them. Always worth a try mate.

I had the same problem as you and it was down to the server i was connected to

been having the same problem lately, my server guy recommended the following which worked for me.
go to network local setting on your box, turn off DCHP and back on again then apply, restart box and see what happens.
Could be him taking the p*ss but things have improved so worth a try, my box is F3 by the way.

Think he is pulling your plonker, that won't make no difference, just wait till next weekend, he does not know what he is doing, I get no issues
