Wireless Router / Skybox F3/ SeaLion

Hi guys. I have just purchased an F3 and was wondering about 3 things. Firstly, will it work better with a router or dongle? Secondly, I keep seeing things like C-Lion/Sea Lion on these forums. Does this mean anything and is it important? Thirdly, will any UK USB stick be ok to just pop in or do I have to do something with it first.

wired to router is best via lan cable. the wifi on them are rubbish and cause serious picture freeze. any usb stick is fine. we cannot talk about sea lions on the forum but without it you will only get free channels.
