unable to flash f5 firmware

hi all i have a f5 with firmware dated 23-1-2913. ive tried to upgrade to the latest firmware via usb. no matter what file i use even the clone file all i get is file mismatch. so i tried the rs232 way and i got the files on, but on reboot all it would do is get the count of 90 and reboot. i can not get any file to work other than the one it came with....any suggestions plz... dave

send it back faulty/fake once you get bootloop after file mismatch bet it was from fleabay??

yes it was from fleabay and i can stop the loop by putting the file it came with on

thats the only file i found that works just send it back its not fit for purpose as it cannot be updated which is no use if you want the apps to work proper

also get your return postage back left to me i would name him scammer. anyone who gets a file mismatch just send the satbox back tell them stick it where the sun dont shine. not sure if they are faulty of fake f5 boxes but they are no good if you want to update them anyway even null modem cable wont update them just puts it into bootloop. he made me laugh cause i sent it back he tried telling me there was nothing wrong with it! i have been into satboxes now over 3 years and some fleabay a**hole who has brought a load of dud/fake boxes from china telling me i dont know what im doing pmsl he wants to give his head a wobble. also proper f5 boxes come from the factory with dec 2012 firmware on as standard not jan 2013 thats another way of telling

i got 2 f3 boxes of fleabay and can only install firmware that came with it and he will not take them back. the seller is Rove_star

just stick a fleabay resolution in not fit for purpose as the youtube dont work with old firmware and it does with the latest firmware but unable to update to the latest. thats not the seller i had one off seems like loads have these duff or clones whatever they are.

did it say genuine on the advert? if so you have him item not as described/unfit for purpose
