Can somebody confirm BBC1 HD Transponder details?

    Hello,

About a week ago a good portion of my pay TV and FTA channels dropped in signal to about 5%. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the dish or another part of the system but I'd assume if that was the case then I'd have no channels at all.

Anyway can anybody confirm that these are the current details for BBC1 HD because if so I might have to investigate whether my hardware is at fault.

    Cheers,

    Sax

Process of elimination on your whole system as BBC1 HD is on Astra 1N and as such is an extremely strong signal

My BBC One HD is also the same transponder as yours.

See KingsOfSat for list of channels and there frequencies etc.

If this used to be ok but suddenly it's not and you haven't done anything then its poss faulty box, lnb or dish alignment if slightly off.

Check cable for loose or shorting maybe (little strands of copper now maybe touching the actual main copper) on both the end going into your box and LNB end (careful not to move the dish just yet). You can just check cable on box end for now if access to sat/LNB isn't easy.

If above looks fine then just to be on safe side backup your channel list and rescan channels yourself. If this also doesn't help then its likely your box, LNB or sat.

Can you use an alternate box (even Sky box) just to check signal quality of FTA channels, or try your box in a friends or something?

If ok with another box you know works fine then it's not your box so try both cable ends.

If cable ends look fine and you have tried all the above then that only leaves your LNB/dish.
