If BBC HD is showing scrambled then just maybe your satellite dish is not aligned correctly and your actually pointing to the wrong satellite.
Have you tried to do a blind scan to see what actual channels are being scanned?

it would say no signal not scrambled as its not encrypted to get scrambled do you have power turned on to lnb?

ok, so I deleted the channel list, re uploaded and rebooted the box. Now again scrambled, however when I go to antennae setup, my signal has dropped back down to 40% but when I select transponder 4/92 10758 V 22000 my signal goes back up to 83%. Why is this?

Already done that with no avail. Why does the signal change when I change the transponder? The one the channel list select is low but when I change to another its goes back up.

Nope don't have any other box and don't know anyone with one. Don't really want to buy one just to try.

That means you are pointing at the wrong dish 19e? you need to align your dish so that it points to 28.2e you can get a meter or use a smart phone app to get you near the position your dish should be. There used to be website which used to show graphically what direction to point the dish but at the moment I can't remember the name.

yep deffo wrong sat bet its the old sky sat dish set at 19.2e which is now beeing used by another sat

Crap. The guy left about an hour ago. I already have the app satfinder but don't really know how to use it. Is it definitely aligned wrong? Should I be able to get bbc if it is aligned with Astra and if it isn't then I would be getting foreign channels?

its slightly to the right of the sat you are getting now just move cm at a time to the right untill you get bbc come on. because it might not be bbc it will be a different channel using the same frequency but on a different sat not the one you want no german on 28.2

OK, with the above instruction, is it right while looking at the dish or right when looking at the direction the dish is facing (like to the sky). And should bbc 1 automatically come on or do I have to scan again? As it says scrambled and not no signal

no you have the list for 28.2 so it will come on auto when dish is alligned just take it steady bit at a time its a good signal so easy to find. dont know for sure what sat you are pointing at but its not the one you want so try both directions till you get it

the signal I have found now is a good strong one, but you still think its the old sky one?

If you are on 28.2e then as you change channels bbc,bbc2,itv1,etc.. all channels should be clear.
When I aligned my dish I used the satellite director it is simple to use:
1.switch on the app
2.choose satellite tab
3.tick 28.25e astra 2b/2a/1n
4.choose director
5.move phone until dot is in circle
