skybox f5 problem - cant scan SSports 3 HD or 4 HD - ajay channel list not working?!

Hi all, got a problematic skybox F5. when i upload deejay channel list only 25% of the channels work, the rest either say 'scambled' (even though working sub) and the rest 'no signal'

however when i delete the channel list and rescan the receiver, 95% of the channels work including premium channels. however sky sports 3 hd + 4 hd are there but show ss1, and when i try to scan SS3 HD nothing is found.

i tried using the last two latest firmwares. Also some tp list frequencies i get 86% signal intensity - 71% signal quality. and other frequencies 43% signal intensity - 10% signal quality.

has anyone come across this problem? and is the solution to rectify this problem?

sounds like you have more than 1 satbox connected to the same satdish is that right? if so the f5 dont like your lnb. unplug all other satboxes from the dish and just leave the f5 and see if all your channels come back

Check to see what revison you have if rev 1.00 then you will have problems.. best use your f5 as a door stop, if you have rev 2.4 then check your lnb.
the f3 is a better unit than the f5 got a stronger gain than the f5, even f3 with revison 1.00 works well with mulit lnb's
