un-brick skybox f5 - is this process correct?

hi all. just about to un-brick my skybox f5. skybox f5 currently shows a dim red light only visible once the black front panel is removed.

is the process below correct to unbrick skybox f5 satellite receiver.

1} connect pc serial rs232 port to skybox f5 using rs232 cable (from vu duo) while box is powered down.
2} Run EromUpgrade.exe selecting the correct com port (manage devices > ports - com1 applies to my computer)
3} Run the latest firmware (yogitech)

so under com settings
Port - COM1
Bits Rate - 115200
Parity - Even

Operate Mode - Upgrade
File - Latest firmware selected
Include Bootloader - ????

4} Select "next" then switch ON the box
and follow the instructions to load
and flash burn the firmware.


is the above process correct? Any input appreciated.

You have to tick the Include Bootloader option.
