    Recording on skybox F5

    Hello people.

Was just wondering what I would need in order to pause/rewind and record on this box. I know I need a USB stick or a hard drive but what size and which one?

any help will be really appreciated!

    thanks

I would go for hard drive with its own power supply (maybe usb 3.0 1tb), I know some people have had trouble with the audio going out of sync with the usb stick.

Why USB 3 ? that to me would be an unessessary expense as USB 3 is not supported by SkyBox 5. I can record to a hi-speed USB 2 thumb drive @1080i source with no stutter or lag I'll check the make and report back.

You may eventually get rid of the F5 but not the hard drive therefore you are future proofing yourself.
