have you tried loading one of the pre-made channel lists available to see if this helps with the missing channels just in case the blindscan is missing some TP's

Could it be the skybox F5 has the same problems the openboxes had, that is they put out a higher voltage therefore if you had a sky installed lnb, which ran at a lower voltage, causing a problem?
The solution for this was have a capacitor in line (on ebay there was a ready made kit) with the cable from lnb or change the lnb to one that can cope with the higher voltage.Comment

Make sure that your LNB freq is set to Universal (9750-10600) in your Antenna setup page in the installation menu.Got a problem with my f5 when I do a scan blind scan will not find every single channel ie discovery hd or history hd pointing at 28.2 have a duo downstairs disconnected it and tried the f5 d stairs same problem lots of channels say no signal any ideas maybe duff tuner me thinks
As mahrkpat mentioned, there were problems with Openbox voltages when switching the LNB to vertical. Not sure if this was fixed in later models. This would only affect vertical transponders though. Are you receiving all the horizontal channels, & not receiving all the vertical channels?Last edited by Hadron; 18 April, 2013, 11:28.Comment

When you do a blind scan watch and see when it says scanning vertical channels see if they are appearing.
