    SKYBOX F5 SOME CHANNELS NOT WORKING

    Got a problem with my f5 when I do a scan blind scan will not find every single channel ie discovery hd or history hd pointing at 28.2 have a duo downstairs disconnected it and tried the f5 d stairs same problem lots of channels say no signal any ideas maybe duff tuner me thinks

    have you tried loading one of the pre-made channel lists available to see if this helps with the missing channels just in case the blindscan is missing some TP's

      Tried aj channel list but still can't get certain channels to work mainly hd channels

        Could it be the skybox F5 has the same problems the openboxes had, that is they put out a higher voltage therefore if you had a sky installed lnb, which ran at a lower voltage, causing a problem?
        The solution for this was have a capacitor in line (on ebay there was a ready made kit) with the cable from lnb or change the lnb to one that can cope with the higher voltage.

          Make sure that your LNB freq is set to Universal (9750-10600) in your Antenna setup page in the installation menu.

          As mahrkpat mentioned, there were problems with Openbox voltages when switching the LNB to vertical. Not sure if this was fixed in later models. This would only affect vertical transponders though. Are you receiving all the horizontal channels, & not receiving all the vertical channels?

            It's weird mainly hd channels work work shows no signal not sure if vertical channels

              When you do a blind scan watch and see when it says scanning vertical channels see if they are appearing.

                When I do blindscan el find every channel but around 5 or 6 say failed certain channels like history hd and discovery hd fail

                  Hi all was there a fix for this??

                  Ian getting no signal on some of my movie channels & a few more.. SNR is showing 7% on the channels with no signal

                  Please help
