What Next? Need pointers...

Hi Guys,

I've used this site from a distance for ages and always found what I needed so am back for more help but cant find the info I need so I'm asking for some advice.

Just moved house and the new house is not in a cabled area so the Starview is now a paper weight. I want HD and sports and the ability to record,.

Is it all possible? What do I need? I have a dish with LMB but not sure on age or quality so am willing to replace if needed and buy a new box..

Whats my best route?

Invest in a motorised set up, there's alot more sats then just 28.2e, as for a box; an f5 for 50 quid will allow you to record to an external hdd. I Would recommend a enigma 2 box though as you can do alot more with it.. you could even start off your own shares and try out a few .keys

I would say motorised dish too also a satellite receiver which has two tuners because now days it about watching one channel while recording another and lastly a 7 day epg so you can plan your recordings, the openbox/skybox only offer now and next on 28.2e. There is a lot of information
on the internet look for receivers that enjoy a lot of user support not necessarily the latest models, in this way you cover yourself by finding help when you come up against a problem.
