updated skybox f3 firmware but now no channels

hey all
i just updated my firmware with the latest version and then updated channel list but now my box is saying i have no channels !!
please can someone give me a few pointers

Did you switch the box off then back on after installing the channel list? Did you back up your 'gift'?

tried on and off didnt work . box had gift installed . antenna setup says astra eutelsat and turksat getting channels on blind scan but none of them coming on .please help

Before updating firmware you should have....

Dumped your system to USB
Dumped your gift to USB
Dump your channel list to USB (if you're not going to be installing a new channel list)
then
Delete all stored channels
then
Reboot

then you're safe to load new firmware... Then add your channel list, reinstall gift, setup network, then reboot.

If you didnt do it like above, what did you not do?

i just stuck new firmware on usb and updated image file . then tried to update my channel list . have i killed my box?????
i was looking everywhere for a step by step guide on updating firmware but couldnt find one is there any way to recover my box and channels

Try contacting your provider and say you lost your gift, they should see it isnt in use and may give you the details for it, are the free to air channels working?

when u say gift . . . . . . where would i find it on box and what should be the file name

all my channels were off it was saying no channels so i did a blind scan and now its giving me a list full of c**p like 6 channel 4s

are you on a motorised setup or fixed when you said 5% snr?plenty of u tube videos here

thats normal on a scan it can bring up loads of itvs and bbcs but on different frequencies

im on a fixed setup is the gift a newcamd.list if so i have that on my laptop

youtube app working ok but i cant seem to delete channel list to install new channel list and i dont know what sat i should be ticking

Menu>edit channel>delete all, then install a new list
