help needed F5 skybox

hi all, im new to all this and just been given an F5 skybox but I haven't got a clue about it, do I need a sky dish? I have internet. sry as I said im new.

Yeah mate you need a sat dish!! And a subscription to watch $ channels!! You can watch fta channels with just the dish

my friend says there is already a subscription on it, how do I tell if there is?

First of all your box needs to be connected to the internet, then check your cam settings in the network settings to see is there is an active subscription!! If you read through the tuts you'll be able to find out how to do this!!

If the box already has an account. If it is plugged into another location they might block it as the IP address will be different.

They shouldn't as long as it's not being used by 2 different IP addresses at the same time!!
