    Skybox F5 help please!

    Hi,

I bought a new skybox f5 today. I want to know is it possible to view the same content at two different places. e.g. watching sky sports in the living room and in my bedroom. Also I want to know is can the internet connection required by wireless instead of an wired (ethernet/RJ45 cable).

viewing in 2 places...yes...use a video sender connected to the scart port....there are HDMI versions but they are costly.

Wireless.....yes but the wifi adaptor has to be compatible with the box...then you just change the network settings in the F5 to wifi and enter your router details.....ssid and password

You would be better using Homeplugs the wireless on thses receivers is hit and miss on its ability to work correctly, As for sending the picture to another room either wired with a Triax Tri Link or you could try wireless pyramid video senders. For me though Wired wins hands down everytime

If you do go with a video sender, I would reccomend a 5.8GHz version, as the 2.4GHz band is very crowded & you will probably get interference.

As they work on the composite signal, any model should work.
