openbox login/offline

    openbox login/offline

    ive recently set uo an openbox s11. ive entered the Gift but it keeps coming up that its offline/login. ive been assured that all is well at the other end. is there something im missing

    Look up NEWCAMD set up, maybe that will work

      Have you re-booted the box after you have put in the 'Gift' ??

        Check your firewall settings isn't blocking your s11.

          ive rebooted and rescanned loads of times still nothing, ive tried the newcamd and if ive done that correctly then that hasnt worked so ill look into my firewall settings as ive just got a new router

            what would i be looking for to allow my firewall to let it past, is there a certain program name or title i should be looking for

              definately not the firewall, ive checked everything that its blocking and still no luck. any more ideas please

                I replied to this thread yesterday but don't see the post here now, when you get alternating login/offline it means your provider is denying access for one or other reason,you may need to contact them, and check your status

                  Thats because members keep using terms such as C/L*** & S***** which are a no go, there are plenty of other terms you can use to stay within the rules such as 'Gift' & Person supplying said 'Gift' as well as others

                      Point taken,it was an oversight, don't like using term 'gift' as it's common parlance on so many sites for said offending item, aside from that post was only made to help op as reason mentioned is the main cause of this message, providing internet connection is sound.I apologise for any inconvenience or offence.

                        No problem it would benefit all members if they just used different terminology for the original meanings as you can probably guess no forum wants any unwanted attention with regards to C/S so if we minimise the risk the better it is all round
