Hi,
I have an elliptical dish (from Shaw Direct - Canada) and the model of its LNBF is as follows:
Triple Satellite Quad Output Switchable xKu LNBF
Model Name: SHAW60E - SKW 3112 298 04422
Input Frequency: 11.023 - 12.223
Output Frequency: 950 - 2150 MHz (Non-stacked)
Linear Polarization: Vertical 10.5 - 14.2V; Horizontal 15.2 - 21.0V
I tries to use this dish to get FTA channels from two satellites: Galaxy 19 (97W) and SES 1 (101W). My problem is that I cannot get the signal on either of the two satellites. The TV screen always shows Signal Intensity of 45% and Signal Strength of 5%, regardless of how I try to point the dish. I also hooked up a satellite signal meter and can see that the signal level changed when I moved the dish. Does it mean that the Openbox S10 does not work with the LNBF I currently have, or do I need to set the FTA receiver in some way to get the signals? In fact I have been playing around with many different settings (especially in the antenna setup) of the receiver but nothing seems to work.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Thank you.
